Nora Fatehi

Nora Fatehi was born on February 6, 1992. She is a Canadian actress, model, dancer, singer, and producer most recognized for her work in Bollywood. She has acted in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films. Nora Fatehi hails from a Moroccan family and was born and reared in Canada, yet she has declared in interviews that she is "an Indian at heart". Nora Fatehi comes from a Muslim Arabic-Moroccan family with Indian roots, as her mother is a third-generation Indian. The names of Nora's parents do not appear to be well-known. Her younger brother, 'Omar,' is her only sibling. In the Bollywood film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans, she made her film debut. She rose to prominence in Telugu cinema after appearing in item numbers in films such as Temper, Baahubali: The Beginning, and Kick 2. She has also appeared in two Malayalam films, Double Barrel, and Kayamkulam Kochunni. 


She appeared on the reality television show Bigg Boss 9 in 2015 and was eliminated on Day 84. She competed in the reality television dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2016. She starred in the Bollywood film Satyameva Jayate, in which she performed a recreated version of the song "Dilbar". It received 20 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release. Moreover, making it India's first Hindi song to do so. She relocated to Mumbai and began acting in television ads for well-known brands.  She also appeared in the film Mr. X in a cameo role. Directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, with Emraan Hashmi and Gurmeet Chaudhary. In early December 2014, she joined Puri Jagannadh's Temper, making her Telugu debut. She also worked on an Arabic version of the Dilbar song with Moroccan hip-hop musician Fnare. 


In February 2019, she signed an exclusive artist deal with T-Series and will star in their upcoming films, music videos, web series, and online movies. She then starred in the dance film Street Dancer 3D, which will be released in 2020.  Fatehi became the first African-Arab female musician to have her song "Dilbar" reach one billion views on YouTube on March 6, 2021.

 

Nora Fatehi's upcoming projects: 


The First upcoming project of Nora Fatehi is Abhishek Dudhaiya directed Bhuj: The Pride of India, a Hindi-language military film set in India.  It follows Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. He was in charge of the Bhuj Air Force Base at the time, as he rebuilt the destroyed landing strip in 72 hours with the help of 300 local women. Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pranitha Subhash, and Ihana Dhillon star opposite Ajay Devgn as Karnik. Heena Rehman, played by Nora Fatehi, is a RAW spy. The second upcoming project of Nora Fatehi is Satyameva Jayate 2 is a vigilante action film written and directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment. It is the spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate. It stars John Abraham in three parts, as well as Divya Khosla Kumar, Rajeev Pillai, and Anup Soni. It is founded in a fight against injustice and power abuse. The release date has been pushed back due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.  It was a tremendous commercial failure, unlike the original. In this film Nora Fatehi makes a special appearance in the song "Kusu Kusu".

Nora Fatehi Controversies 

There have been occasions in Nora Fatehi’s life when she has been involved in a controversy. Nora's dispute with choreographer and dancer Terence Lewis recently went viral. Nora has performed on a prominent competitive dancing show as a guest judge. Terence allegedly grabbed Nora improperly while performing on stage for fun, according to several netizens. They both claimed that nothing of the sort had happened and that the video had been altered. Terence also issued a statement, stating that he admired Nora and would never do something like that. One of the key reasons for the reality show's popularity in 2015 was the relationship between Prince Narula and Nora Fatehi. Nora's breakup with Angad Bedi was one affair and another controversy that destroyed her heart. Nora Fatehi and Angad had been dating for a while and were quite close. 

So much so that the Canadian beauty had made plans to spend the rest of her life with him. However, things became tense when Angad moved on with Neha Dhupia and married her very quickly. In October 2021, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reportedly questioned Nora Fatehi for nearly eight hours.
